Bars in St. Helier

Most bars and pubs in St. Helier are in walking distance of the Royal Square. There are also a number of bars on the newly developed- and locally despised- Waterfront area.
However, if your idea of a good night out doesn't involve overpriced drinks, fast food joints and 'theme' bars, our local's guide will steer you in the right direction:

BOHEMIA- On a Friday after 5pm this is the bar in St. Helier to see and be seen.

BONDS- Newly refurbished bar near Library Place with large comfortable sofas and music.

THE MUSEUM BRASSERIE- Regular bands and events during summer months and a beautiful al fresco area to enjoy a bottle of wine or a cold beer, mean this brasserie/bar at The Weighbridge is a very popular venue when the sun is shining.

THE ORIGINAL WINE BAR- Our favourite wine bar in St. Helier is a converted Victorian building in Bath Street. Friendly staff, great lunches and an excellent selection of wines by the glass as well as a good choice of draught beers and ales.
